Dramatic moment Trump pauses Kentucky rally after woman collapses

During a rally in Kentucky, Donald Trump found himself pausing his speech when a fan collapsed behind him. In a swift response, Dr. Mehmet Oz, who was present, rushed to assist the stricken individual.

At the time, Trump was highlighting his achievements on the economic front and voicing support for a candidate opposing anti-MAGA libertarian Thomas Massie in his Congressional primary. As the incident unfolded, the president turned from the podium to assess the situation.

Concerned, Trump addressed the crowd, asking, “Do we have a doctor in the house, please?” Demonstrating patience, he added, “Take your time, please,” as someone made their way to the stage to offer help.

Trump reassured the audience, acknowledging the time they invested to see him speak. “We have all the time,” he stated, indicating that the speech would continue once the attendee received the necessary care.

As emergency medical technicians tended to the woman, Trump expressed his admiration for their efforts, remarking, “First responders are incredible.” His words were met with enthusiastic applause from the crowd, highlighting the appreciation for their vital role.

As he noticed the EMTs attend to the supporter, Trump said: ‘First responders are incredible’, and the crowd cheered in response.

Eventually, the woman was carried to safety by medics, who were joined by Oz, Trump’s administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

‘It’s Doctor Oz, can you believe it? Doctor Oz! He’s a good doctor,’ Trump said as the crowd applauded.

The woman’s condition is unclear.

The Daily Mail has reached out to the White House for comment.

The president attempted to pass the time by playing some music for the crowd, asking for Pavarotti’s cover of ‘Ave Maria.’

During his speech at the rally, Trump touted lowering prescription drug prices in Ohio and campaigned in the Kentucky district of Massie, calling his fellow Republican a ‘nutjob’ he said should lose their party’s upcoming primary.

It was a full day on the road as Trump attempted to project economic and political strength even as war in Iran has scrambled financial markets and hurt his poll numbers.

Massie is one of the few remaining Republicans who has dared defy Trump in Congress, and the president took the unusual step of holding a rally in Massie’s northern Kentucky district.

He gleefully told the crowd, ‘I just can’t stand this guy’ and called him ‘stupid’ and a ‘disaster.’

‘We’ve got to get rid of this loser,’ said Trump, who has endorsed Massie challenger Ed Gallrein in Kentucky’s primary on May 19.

The event felt like vintage Trump from his reelection bid in 2024 — so much so that he briefly called Gallrein, a farmer, businessman and retired Navy SEAL, to the stage.

There, Gallrein declared, ‘Tom Massie stands with the ladies of ‘The View.’ Mr. President, we stand with you!’

The trip was a test of Trump’s ability to cleanse his party of those who oppose him, but also to try to stay on an economic message increasingly strained by the military action launched by the U.S. and Israel against Iran.
