The ongoing verbal tussle between Donald Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene escalated as Trump unleashed one of his infamous derogatory nicknames on the Congresswoman. Their heated exchange extended into a second day, keeping political observers on the edge of their seats.
On Saturday morning, Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, shortly after Greene issued a composed statement. In his post, Trump derisively referred to the Georgia Representative as “Marjorie Taylor Brown,” suggesting, “Green grass turns Brown when it begins to ROT!”
He didn’t stop there. In a subsequent post, Trump dubbed her “Marjorie Traitor Greene,” accusing her of betraying the Republican Party by shifting towards the left. Trump’s rhetoric was as fiery as ever, painting Greene as just another “Fake politician.”
He went on to draw comparisons between Greene and other Republican figures, mentioning Rand Paul Jr. and Thomas Massie, whom he labeled as a “Republican In Name Only (RINO).” Trump punctuated his critique with a rallying cry for his supporters, “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
The discord reached a significant point on Friday when Trump announced he was retracting his support for Greene, dismissing her as “a ranting lunatic.” This move signaled a stark shift in Trump’s stance towards the once-favored MAGA advocate.
The president announced on Friday that he was withdrawing his support of the former MAGA darling, saying she was ‘a ranting lunatic’.
Greene fired back by sharing screenshots of texts she sent to Trump about the importance of the Epstein files, causing an all-out MAGA civil war.
She joins the likes of ‘Sleepy Joe Biden’, ‘Crazy Hillary’, ‘Ron DeSanctimonious’, and ‘Lyin’ Kamala Harris’, who have all been given their own nickname by Trump.

On Saturday, Greene offered her thanks to those who had reached out in support of her, after Trump pulled his support from her
Prior to his put down of Greene on Saturday, she took to social media to offer her thanks to those who had reached out in support of her after the explosive events of the night before.
She said: ‘I want to thank everyone who texted and posted and commented support for me, you all are so kind and I appreciate, love, and support you too.
‘I never thought that fighting to release the Epstein files, defending women who were victims of rape, and fighting to expose the web of rich powerful elites would have caused this, but here we are. And it truly speaks for itself.
‘There needs to be a new way forward. The toxic political industrial complex thrives on ripping us all apart but never delivers anything good for the American people, whom I love.
‘The PIC tells us to hate each other, fundraises off why we have to hate each other, and pits Americans against each other to the point of violence and nearing civil war. This is all so wrong.
‘We can have our own differences and differing opinions but we can still love and respect one another.
We have far more in common than we have apart. I believe in the American people more than I believe in any leader or political party and the American people deserve so much better than how they have been treated by both sides of the aisle.
‘The way forward is America First America Only. And that may be the most dangerous pursuit of all.’

Greene and Trump traded social media barbs on Friday, with Greene sharing screenshots of texts she sent to Trump about the Epstein files.
Trump kickstarted the spat – including an admission that he advised her not to run for Senate in 2026 – on Truth Social earlier that evening.
She advised him to ‘lean in’ to former President Bill Clinton’s connections to the pedophile, Trump ordered an investigation into Clinton on Friday.
‘Epstein was the spider that wove the web of the deep state. Lean into it,’ she said.
In a second screenshot, Greene responded to a text from ‘NH’ that appeared to be fuming about her Trump criticisms, stating: ‘THE JEFFREY EPSTEIN HOAX.’
Greene replied: ‘In every single interview I have done I have defended President Trump.
‘I’ve said over and over the women say he did nothing wrong and their attorney says he’s the only one who helped.
‘And the Democrats had 4 years to release the files but did nothing’, NH is an apparent reference to the president’s assistant Natalie Harp.
Greene adds: ‘Stop ignoring the women. Many of them literally voted for President Trump and say so publicly. Them being raped as teenagers is not a hoax.’
In a lengthy statement on Friday, she said Trump was specifically gunning for her to scare other Republicans before next weeks vote to release the Epstein files.
She added: ‘It’s astonishing really how hard he’s fighting to stop the Epstein files from coming out that he actually goes to this level.’
Greene said she had given Trump ‘too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him’ when others abandoned him.
