This morning, a significant police operation brought several schools in Sydney’s north-west to a temporary lockdown, which has now been resolved.

Authorities were alerted around 10:25 a.m. about an individual reportedly carrying firearms along Guardian Avenue in Beaumont Hills, located roughly 40 kilometers from the city center.

In response, nearby schools implemented lockdown procedures as a safety measure, and the public was advised to steer clear of the area due to the heightened police activity.
