Police in California believe a 13-year-old girl may have disappeared with a 19-year-old man who requires regular medical treatment.
Deanna Mendoza Pfoutz, 13, was reported missing on October 1. Jaden Wilson, 19, was last seen by his family on October 2 and was reported missing on October 5.
“The Santa Rosa Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two voluntarily missing teenagers who are believed to be together,” the department said in a Facebook post.
Deanna is described as a Hispanic female who is approximately 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, black pajama pants and black shoes while carrying a black backpack.
Wilson is described as a Black male who is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.
The pair were reportedly seen together in Petaluma on October 4 and in Santa Rosa on October 5. Authorities have not said whether either teenager may have been the victim of a crime.
Police said Wilson has a medical condition that requires treatment. Anyone who knows where the two may be is urged to contact the law enforcement agency serving that area.

The search comes as SRPD investigates another missing-person case involving 15-year-old Hernan Gabriel Rivas Hernandez, who was reported missing on October 8.
Police are asking the public for help locating Hernandez, who was last seen wearing all-black clothing and white shoes. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds.
