Santa Clarita multi-car crash leaves 13 injured

In a serious accident in Santa Clarita, over a dozen individuals sustained injuries after a city bus, a gravel truck, and a white sedan collided on Wednesday morning at the intersection of Centre Pointe Parkway and Golden Valley Road. Among the injured, four were reported to be in critical condition.

The severity of the crash triggered a substantial emergency response, with 10 ambulances dispatched to the location. Crews from the Los Angeles County Fire Department were on the scene, performing triage to assess and manage the injuries.

According to reports from The Signal, one individual was trapped within the wreckage and required extrication by emergency teams.

Authorities confirmed that all injured parties had been transported from the site by 10:17 a.m.

The gravel truck involved in the collision was loaded at the time, leading to material being scattered across the road.

At the time of reporting, a total of 13 people had been injured. Four of these individuals were in critical condition, while the remaining nine sustained less severe injuries.

Authorities said the crash involved a Santa Clarita city bus, a truck, and a white sedan.

The cause of the violent collision remains under investigation.
