JSO: 2-year-old girl missing, believed to be with 26-year-old woman

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has announced that Rieva Scarlett is missing. The agency states she was last seen with 26-year-old Shatanya Brown.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in locating a missing 2-year-old girl who is purportedly with a 26-year-old woman.

The child, Rieva Scarlett, was last observed in the company of 26-year-old Shatanya Brown, as reported by JSO. They were “seen together as late as Thursday evening, July 17 near the 3600 block of Blanding Boulevard.”

The sheriff’s office says family members of Rieva are concerned for her safety due to the length of time Rieva and Brown have not been seen or heard from.

According to JSO, Rieva is 2’6″, weighs 26 pounds and has brown eyes and brown hair. Brown is 5’4″, weighs 150 pounds and has brown eyes and red hair.

JSO says it is actively searching for Rieva.
