An intriguing revelation has surfaced about a popular Instagram personality known for her patriotic-themed content and striking bikini photos. The social media sensation, who captured the attention of millions by sharing images of herself engaging in activities like ice fishing, savoring Coors Light, and shooting firearms, has been exposed as an Indian medical student using the platform to fund his education.
The individual behind this digital persona, identified as “Sam,” is a 22-year-old aspiring orthopedic surgeon. In a conversation with WIRED, he disclosed that he began selling AI-generated images of a fictional young woman to finance his studies and accumulate savings for his planned move to the United States post-graduation.
Seeking guidance from Google’s Gemini AI, Sam crafted a character designed to appeal to the “MAGA/conservative niche.” The AI suggested that this demographic, particularly older American men, typically possesses higher disposable income and demonstrates strong brand loyalty, as reported by WIRED.
Thus, the avatar “Emily Hart” came into existence. Presented as a registered nurse with a striking resemblance to actress Jennifer Lawrence, she catered to an audience of conservative men by sharing provocative and politically charged content.
One notable post featured her wielding a rifle, accompanied by bold captions like “If you want a reason to unfollow: Christ is king, abortion is murder, and all illegals must be deported,” along with a thought-provoking statement, “POV: You were assigned intelligent at birth, but you identify as liberal.”

Sam told the magazine, âEvery day Iâd write something pro-Christian, pro-Second Amendment, pro-life, anti-abortion, anti-woke, and anti-immigration.”
The account “blew up,” and Emily Hart had 10,000 followers within a month.
Every reel he posted garnered millions of views and earned him more followers.
He then cashed in on the AI model’s appeal â selling MAGA-themed T-shirts and creating an account on the OnlyFans competitor Fanvue, where paid subscribers could access lewd AI-generated content.
Fanvue has differentiated itself from OnlyFans by allowing AI-generated content on its platform, the outlet said.
The move made him a mint â and Sam was soon raking in thousands of dollars a month.
âI was spending maybe 30 to 50 minutes of my day, and I was making good money for a medical student,â he recalled.
âIn India, even in professional jobs, you can’t make this amount of money. I havenât seen any easier way to make money online.â
Valerie Wirtschafter, a fellow at the Brookings Institution studying emerging tech and democracy, told the outlet that âAI has made them [fake profiles] more believable, and there has perhaps been an amplification of it.â
The tech expert added that young MAGA women are “more attention-grabbing” since most women ages 18 to 29 skew liberal.
Despite MAGA fans making him rich, he still looks down on them, calling them “super dumb.”
He said he also attempted to make a liberal counterpart for Hart on Instagram, but âDemocrats know that itâs AI slop, so they donât engage as much,” he said.
âThe MAGA crowd is made up of dumb peopleâlike, super dumb people. And they fall for it,” Sam said.
Sam used Grok AI to generate nude photos of Hart and uploaded them to Fanvue, where fans sent him money for exclusive content and messages.
“I was basically doing nothing,â he said. âAnd it was just flooded with money.”
Hart’s profile on Instagram â which requires creators to disclose whether their content is AI-generated âwas taken down by the platform in February for “fraudulent” activity, the outlet said.
A Facebook account that WIRED said remained online has been taken down since the article was published about Sam’s scheme.
The medical student added that he would have stopped posting content of Hart anyway.
âI donât feel like I was scamming people,â Sam said.
Instead, he’s hoping to focus on his studies in medical school.
