Three brazen home invaders posing as Amazon employees allegedly bound an 89-year-old Bronx woman with zip ties and held a gun to her 70-year-old son’s head Tuesday while ransacking the apartment for just $24 and several personal belongings, police and sources said.
The suspects rang the doorbell of the Jerome Park apartment at about 11:15 a.m. The woman’s son answered, believing the visitor was his mother’s boyfriend, according to police and sources.
Instead, a masked man and woman wearing Amazon vests, along with a third man dressed entirely in black, forced their way inside, authorities said.
One of the suspects pointed a gun at the son and demanded money before the group zip-tied his elderly mother’s hands, according to sources.
The intruders searched the apartment near Bainbridge Avenue and East 199th Street before taking the son’s cellphone, a landline phone, wallet, credit cards and $24, police and sources said.

The suspects fled on foot and remained at large as of Wednesday, police said.
Surveillance images show the three suspects walking down the sidewalk. The two wearing vests appear to be carrying what sources described as empty Amazon packages.
Both victims were treated at the scene for minor injuries, police said.
