'Avatar: Fire and Ash' press tour wraps with final stops in Mexico City and Toronto

The “Avatar” world press tour is drawing to a close, paving the way for the eagerly anticipated return of the franchise with “Fire and Ash.”

The tour’s final stops included Mexico City and Toronto, where the film’s stars engaged with fans and posed alongside captivating displays inspired by Pandora.

In Mexico City, actors Sigourney Weaver and Oona Chaplin graced the Antara Cinemex Theatre, while director James Cameron and actor Stephen Lang made an appearance at Toronto’s Scotiabank Theatre.

The “Avatar” press tour wraps up as James Cameron, Sigourney Weaver and other stars meet fans to celebrate the franchise’s upcoming release. 

Weaver and Chaplin also took in stunning views from the top of the city’s World Trade Center and enjoyed a photo session against an enchanting backdrop in the lush Chapultepec Forest.

Celebrations were not limited to North America; the return of the Sully family was marked with fanfare around the world, including events in China, France, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Spain, and the UK.

As the promotional journey concludes, the adventure back to Pandora is set to begin with the premiere of “Avatar: Fire and Ash” in theaters on Friday, December 19.
