Karmelo Anthony appeared visibly shocked in a recent mugshot as he was moved to a Texas correctional facility to commence his 35-year incarceration for the murder of fellow high school athlete Austin Metcalf.

The 19-year-old was photographed sporting a shaved head and wearing a sleeveless tunic in the image obtained by CBS 11.

On Wednesday morning, Anthony was relocated to the Wallace Pack Unit located near Houston, Texas, following a night spent in county custody.

It is still uncertain whether Anthony will complete his sentence at the Wallace Pack Unit. According to Fox 4, he may first be transferred to an intake facility in Huntsville before being assigned to a permanent location.
