A representative from the WFP responded to Fox News Digital concerning accusations made by a whistleblower, stating unequivocally that the claims of WFP hindering aid delivery and obstructing IDF assistance “are false.”
The representative further explained, “GHF operates four locations in Gaza situated in particular regions, and the paths used for aid delivery differ from those employed by other humanitarian entities. The U.N. maintains complete transparency with Israeli authorities regarding all coordination efforts and any incidents that arise.”
Richard Goldberg, serving as a senior advisor at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and having held positions within the White House and National Security Council during Trump’s tenures, shared with Fox News Digital, “The U.N. is manipulating aid provisions in Gaza to create a crisis, undermining GHF’s efforts to promote UNRWA as the leading entity for aid distribution. We are dealing with significant amounts of taxpayer funding allocated to WFP and the U.N. on the whole, under the expectation of aid being delivered in concert with Israel.”
“These allegations hint at instructions supposedly from the Secretary General across U.N. channels to intentionally delay aid to benefit Hamas, which could escalate into the largest U.N. scandal since the oil-for-food program,” he remarked.
Furthermore, he stated, “Senator Rubio would be fully justified in contacting the Secretary General to insist that the U.N. will not receive further U.S. taxpayer funding unless he agrees to an independent investigation and mandates that all agencies collaborate with Israel.”
