Cardi B throws marker after asked about pregnancy rumors

Cardi B angrily tossed a marker at a paparazzo after the shutterbug casually questioned her about viral pregnancy rumors.

In a widely shared video on X, a photographer off-camera approached the “WAP” rapper, bringing up claims that her ex, “Offset, is publicly bragging about getting you pregnant for the fourth time,” as she exited court in Los Angeles Tuesday.

He went on to ask the mother of three — who is currently facing a trial regarding an alleged 2018 altercation with a security guard — if she foresaw any “paternity issues with Stefon Diggs,” to whom she has been romantically connected since June.

The “Bodak Yellow” artist immediately seized a marker from a fan’s outstretched hand and forcefully threw it towards the voice, admonishing him for his “disrespect.”

As her bodyguard escorted her to a waiting vehicle, the man shouted, “I still love you even though you threw some stuff at me!” Cardi replied, “Don’t do that.”

“Do you see women asking those type of questions to me?” she asked.

While wagging her finger at the paparazzo, she continued, “Why do you feel as a man, you get to ask me those type of questions?”

“Act like you have some manners,” she demanded before adding, “Respect women.”

As Cardi — who was wearing a black polka dotted suit for her day in court — entered the vehicle, the man again shouted, “I still love you, Cardi!”

A rep for the rapper did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

Fans were quick to voice their opinions in the comments section about the heated exchange. “Yeah, that was definitely disrespectful,” one individual noted, while another commented, “like why would you even say Offset’s name – this girl been minding her business.”

“Oh no,” a third lamented, adding a concerned face emoji.

Cardi B is currently on trial over accusations of assault and battery from former security guard Emani Ellis, who recently claimed in court that the rapper used racist slurs, cut her cheek with a manicure, and spat on her during a 2018 doctor’s visit.

Cardi B vigorously denied the claims and counter-accused Ellis of taking photos of her without permission during the outing.

“I didn’t touch her,” the rapper said in court on Aug. 26. “It was like a verbal fight, but it didn’t get physical at all.”

At the time, she was four months pregnant with her first child with estranged husband Offset — the former couple share kids Kulture, 7, Wave, 3, and Blossom, who turns one on Sept. 7.

A rep for Cardi B, 32, confirmed to Page Six on Aug. 1 that she had filed for divorce from Offset, 33.

In June, she subsequently began dating NFL star Diggs, 31, hard launching the relationship with steamy pics from a yacht outing over Memorial Day in Miami.

Cardi B was also sued for assault and battery in July over an incident in which she allegedly threw a microphone at a woman during a Las Vegas performance in 2023.
