In a bid to advance their investigation into a tragic shooting, the Chicago Police Department has unveiled footage of individuals linked to the incident in the Little Village neighborhood.
Authorities suspect that three individuals, captured on video inside a vehicle, played a role in the shooting that unfolded on a bustling Wednesday afternoon. The violent episode, which occurred near fruit stands at the intersection of 26th Street and St. Louis Avenue, resulted in the death of one man and injuries to three other people.

The newly released video, made public on Thursday, depicts a white car arriving at a gas station located in the 3400 block of West 26th Street. The footage shows one person exiting the vehicle to enter the store briefly before returning to the car.
According to the Chicago Police Department, the individuals seen in the video were wearing masks at the time of the incident. The department is actively seeking the public’s assistance in identifying these suspects to bring them to justice.

Police have not said what led to the gunfire and have offered no motive for the shooting. No one was in custody.
