All Kennedy Expressway lanes north of Addison Street are scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. on Friday.

Part of the I-90/94 construction work zone will partially reopen north of Addison Street, IDOT said.
Beginning at 11 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, the outbound Kennedy will be progressively reduced to a single lane from south of Kimball Avenue to the Edens junction, with intermittent ramp closures starting at 9 p.m. The express lanes will shut down at 1 a.m.
By 5 a.m. Friday construction barricades will be removed and all lanes fully reopened from Addison Street to Pulaski Road.
IDOT said the reversible express lanes will remain open in the outbound direction. The reversible mid-gate entrance and exits will remain closed.
The following ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 29:
-Outbound Kennedy to Kimball Avenue.
-From Addison Street to outbound Kennedy.
-Outbound Kennedy to Pulaski Road/Irving Park Road (Illinois 19).
To allow for ongoing repairs, these ramps will close on Tuesday, Aug. 26:
-Outbound Kennedy to Diversey Avenue
-Fullerton Avenue slip ramp to Western Avenue
According to IDOT, the outbound Kennedy project is expected to be completed by Thanksgiving, with all lanes and ramps reopening and the express lanes returning to normal operations.
