Jordan Hoffman, 33, along with his wife, Harliegh Hoffman, 27, are facing a combined total of 70 charges following a forensic examination of Jordan’s phone by Lake City detectives.

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A Columbia County firefighter has been charged by Lake City police with 53 new counts of child sexual abuse, bringing his total charges to 57.

Jordan Hoffman, 33, is charged with 14 counts of possessing child pornography, six counts of promoting a child’s sexual performance, 35 counts pertaining to illegal sexual activities involving animals, one count of misuse of a two-way communication device, and one count of tampering with or destroying physical evidence.

Hoffman was taken into custody on August 25 after a “CyberTip report” from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reached the police, according to the Lake City Police Department.

In a statement, LCPD stated they added 53 more child sexual abuse charges against Hoffman on Wednesday, September 3, following an examination of his phone that uncovered “further evidence of child sexual exploitation material.”

LCPD said their investigation into Hoffman also uncovered evidence implicating his wife in similar offenses.

“Detectives gathered sufficient cause to charge her with breaches of Florida law pertaining to child sexual exploitation and illegal sexual activities with animals,” LCPD noted in the statement.

Hoffman’s wife, 27-year-old Harliegh Hoffman, faces five counts of possession of child pornography and eight counts of unlawful sexual activities involving animals, according to the release.
