A Connecticut snowplow driver has admitted to using cocaine before causing extensive damage with his vehicle, according to a report. The incident involved the driver crashing through a stone walkway of one home, damaging the porch of another, and plowing through a stone wall before finally colliding with a parked car in Fairfield.

This chaotic sequence resulted in the parked car being pushed through a garage door, where it collided with another vehicle inside, as reported by News 12 Connecticut.

Mark Keene, the driver, reportedly left a 434-foot trail of destruction, culminating with the two vehicles stacked on top of each other.

Images and doorbell camera footage captured the events of the December 28 incident, which led to the arrest of the 46-year-old Keene.

Toxicology tests revealed that Keene had cocaine, benzodiazepines, and cannabinoids in his system on what was his first day on the job, as detailed in an arrest warrant seen by News 12. He confessed to taking “bumps of cocaine” to officers who were forced to administer Narcan after Keene started foaming at the mouth and his skin turned blue.

The landscaping company that employed him had assigned Keene to clear snow from two driveways on Glen Ridge Road at around 7 a.m., a task he ultimately did not complete.

The landscaping company that hired him said he was assigned to clear two driveways on Glen Ridge Road around 7 a.m., which he didn’t get done.

Keene reportedly told police he had an argument with his girlfriend on his way to work before putting three “bumps” of blow up his nose. Following the crash, he said he had no recollection of what had just happened, according to the warrant.

Fairfield police responding to the scene found Keene sitting in the truck, where they noticed his “slurred speech and pinpoint pupils.” Authorities said he was asked to get of the vehicle for a field sobriety test, but then suddenly collapsed in the snow.

Keene was reportedly put into an ambulance where he fought with medics and bit an officer’s arms and hands while being tied to a stretcher.

He was taken into custody on Jan. 8 and posted $15,000 bond, according to News 12. He’s been charged with reckless driving and operating under the influence.

Keene was initially scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, but his case was continued to Feb. 25.
