Delaware Dance Teacher Arrested on Allegations of Sexual Abuse and Soliciting Teen Students

Delaware State Police have taken a dance instructor into custody after investigators said she sexually abused students at a dance studio.

Emily Pryor Albino, 23, of Seaford, Delaware, was arrested on felony sexual abuse and child solicitation charges tied to an ongoing investigation, police announced in a news release.

Although authorities have publicly identified two alleged teenage victims, investigators said they believe there may be additional victims who have not yet been identified.

According to Delaware State Police, detectives opened the case on Aug. 4 after receiving information that Pryor Albino, who worked as a dance teacher at X-Treme Dance Studio in Laurel, Delaware, had allegedly sexually abused two teens enrolled at the studio.

Police said the investigation later found that Pryor Albino had also exchanged sexually explicit messages with the two alleged victims. Detectives added that the circumstances of the case have led them to suspect more potential victims may exist.

Pryor Albino is charged with felony sexual solicitation of a child through a computer, cellphone or other electronic device, along with four counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person in a position of trust. Police said she was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court and ordered held at the Department of Correction on a $110,000 cash bond.
