Donald Trump reportedly considers endorsing Spencer Pratt for LA Mayor

President Donald Trump appears poised to shake up the political landscape of Los Angeles’ mayoral race, as speculation mounts over his potential endorsement of reality TV star Spencer Pratt.

Whispers of a Trump endorsement for Pratt have ignited discussions within conservative circles. The former reality television personality’s unexpected campaign has started to draw considerable attention, extending well beyond the typical Hollywood gossip columns.

“Trump has a penchant for celebrity candidates, and Spencer is a master at grabbing headlines,” a Republican insider revealed to gossip columnist Rob Shuter. This insight highlights the strategic allure of a Pratt endorsement.

The source further mentioned that the idea of Trump supporting Pratt has “definitely been a topic of conversation” within the White House as the June 2 primary approaches.

A White House official stated to the Daily Mail on Saturday that any decision by Trump to enter the race with an endorsement would be announced personally by him on Truth Social.

Despite his growing notoriety, Pratt, 42, remains one of the race’s most enigmatic figures. Although a registered Republican, he is quick to clarify that he does not align himself explicitly with the MAGA movement.

“I do not represent a party,” Pratt declared during a recent debate, casting himself as an “angry Angeleno” focused on Los Angeles’ spiraling homelessness crisis, public safety concerns, drug crime and street chaos.

The TV personality’s political rise has already sparked attacks from rival Nithya Raman, who branded him a “MAGA Republican.”

Raman serves on the Los Angeles City Council and is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America.

Mayor Karen Bass has lately claimed that Pratt is leveraging a “general sense of anger” to build momentum for his mayoral campaign.

“I think that he is tapping into a general sense of anger that people have, not just in Los Angeles, but in many other places around our country,” Bass told MS NOW on Saturday morning.
