A heavily intoxicated cruise passenger allegedly punched two children as they played tag in a hallway aboard the Carnival Glory, Florida authorities said.
David Crosby II, 44, was running through the ship’s corridor with three children on Sunday when he “suddenly stopped running and struck” two of them, according to an affidavit obtained by People magazine.
One child was hit in the face, leaving them with a bleeding lip and head pain, while another was punched in the stomach, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said.
Investigators said the episode was recorded by the cruise ship’s security cameras.
Crosby was described in the affidavit as “heavily intoxicated” and told authorities he did not remember what happened.
Authorities have not said how old the children are or whether they are related to Crosby.
Crosby, who is originally from Georgia, was charged with child abuse and booked into the Brevard County Jail. Jail records show he was later released on $20,000 bond.
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to the Post’s request for additional information.
