Father and son gunned down in blue city after jewelry store robbery, thousands offered for information

A tragic incident unfolded in Chicago over the weekend, leaving a father and son dead following a jewelry store heist, according to local authorities.

Reports from the Chicago Police Department indicate that an unidentified man entered a jewelry store in the Little Village neighborhood around 5:49 p.m. on Saturday. After stealing items, the suspect was confronted outside the store, where an altercation ensued. During the confrontation, the suspect fired two shots, striking both victims, as reported by FOX 32.

One of the victims, a 63-year-old man, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his head, body, and face. He was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

The other victim, a 25-year-old man, was also shot multiple times in the body. He, too, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Jewelry store

The deceased have been identified as Faustino Alamo, 63, and his son, Luis Alamo, 25. This tragic event has been confirmed by CBS News.
