The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Pima County Sheriff’s Office have announced the arrest of an individual related to the abduction of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, who is the mother of Savannah Guthrie, a co-host on TODAY.
On Tuesday, the FBI’s renowned hostage rescue team was dispatched to Tucson, accompanied by numerous SWAT teams operating across various counties. This action followed the FBI’s distribution of images and footage capturing a masked figure approaching Nancy Guthrie’s residence and tampering with the Nest camera to conceal their identity.
