The fire reportedly started on the ninth floor of the building, prompting the dispatch of 120 firefighters and EMS personnel to the location.

Among the four individuals who sustained injuries, one was taken to the hospital while the other three received medical care at the scene.

Firefighters successfully brought the fire under control by 5:43 p.m., according to sources from the FDNY.

This incident follows a tragic five-alarm fire in the Bronx two days earlier, which resulted in one fatality and injuries to six firefighters.

The massive inferno erupted on the top floor and cockloft of a building on East 184th Street near Bassford Avenue in Belmont around 5:30 a.m., according to the fire department.

A man was found dead at the scene and six firefighters were hospitalized with minor injuries.
