FIFA unveils 2026 World Cup schedule

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to be an unprecedented event, spanning 104 matches across 16 cities in North America. This expanded tournament will see its grand opening on June 11, 2026, marking a historic first as it will be jointly hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

This ambitious event will feature games in 11 U.S. cities, three Mexican cities, and two Canadian cities. The tournament will also see an increase in participating teams, growing from 32 to 48, making it the largest World Cup in history.

For soccer enthusiasts eagerly anticipating the action, the match schedule has been released, revealing exciting fixtures such as Brazil taking on Morocco in Group C, with the game set to take place in New Jersey. Meanwhile, Australia will face a UEFA playoff contender in Group D in Vancouver.
