The acclaimed musician and two-time Grammy winner, Lindsey Buckingham, escaped unharmed from an incident involving a suspected stalker.
In Los Angeles, former Fleetwood Mac member Buckingham was reportedly targeted on Wednesday by a woman authorities have labeled as a “stalking suspect.”
The incident occurred while Buckingham, aged 76, was en route to an appointment in Santa Monica. It was reported by NBC4 that the woman allegedly hurled an unidentified substance at him.
Although the suspect has been identified, no arrests have been made yet. However, authorities have indicated that an arrest is anticipated in the near future.
Fortunately, Buckingham did not suffer any injuries during the encounter.
In December 2024, Buckingham secured a permanent restraining order against an alleged stalker, as reported by Fox News. Whether this incident is linked to the recent attack remains uncertain.
The musician’s petition said the woman, identified only as Michelle, had made threats to kill him and his family and her “conduct may escalate into something physically dangerous to me and my family,” The Blast reported.
No other information is known at this time.
