Florida teacher accused of sex with student whose parents tracked his location

A high school mathematics teacher in Florida has been arrested following allegations of engaging in a sexual relationship with a student. The investigation was triggered when vigilant parents tracked their son’s whereabouts to an unexpected location.

Kirsten Rose, aged 37, who teaches at Cocoa Beach Jr./Sr. High School, was apprehended by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office in connection to these accusations.

The inquiry commenced in March after a male student’s parents suspected an improper affair with a teacher. Their concerns arose when their son returned home late from work and was evasive about his whereabouts, as detailed by the sheriff’s office.

Upon checking his location, the parents discovered he had been at an unfamiliar residence. Initially, the teenager claimed to have been at a girlfriend’s house, but later confessed to being involved with his teacher, according to investigators.
