'Dance Moms' alum Nia Sioux shares her six favorite books

Ever curious about what your favorite celebrities are flipping through — whether it’s a timeless piece of literature or the latest buzzworthy novel they can’t put down? Welcome to Page-Turners, where stars open up about the books that captivate them, inspire them, and keep them turning pages late into the night. Be warned: your to-be-read list is about to grow exponentially.

Nia Sioux, the talented “Dance Moms” alum, is sharing her literary influences and the books that have left a mark on her life.

“As you might notice, I have a passion for memoirs,” Sioux reveals to Page Six.

With her own book, “Bottom of the Pyramid,” now available, Sioux emphasizes, “I believe everyone’s story deserves to be heard.”

Below, discover the dancer’s top book picks that you won’t want to miss.

Cover of "Untamed" by Glennon Doyle, a #1 New York Times bestseller and Reese's Book Club pick, with a vibrant pink, blue, and gold glitter design.

“I absolutely adored this memoir. My friend Chloe recommended it to me, and it inspired me to pen my own memoir. The bravery to embrace your true self is truly inspiring,” she shares.

“This is a love letter to baby Nia. This is the story that deserved to be told to inspire all the Nias out there who were told they were not good enough or valued. ‘Bottom of the Pyramid’ is about resilience and strength- there is no pity party happening here.”

“I love a good, solid love story. I love Nicola Yoon’s novels because I am a romantic and I have hope that I one day will be a main character in a love story.”

“I met someone on vacation who had just finished this book and loved it so she gave her copy to me. I loved this book because it shows the many different ways we show up for the people we love.”

Misty Copeland, Young Readers Edition: Life in Motion: An Unlikely Ballerina book cover.

“Reading Misty Copeland’s memoir made me very emotional. There were so many points in her book that I related to and felt seen. After reading her book, I knew I needed to push myself to do more with my dancing and not allow others to dictate my journey.”

“One of the first series that made me fall in love with romance novels. Toxic love stories make for great reading and television or movies.”
