According to district officials, the incident occurred around lunchtime, prompting a swift response from emergency services, who were called to the scene. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the student, unfortunately, did not survive.

The sudden loss has left a somber atmosphere on campus, with students expressing their shock and sorrow. Many were present during the emergency and witnessed the unsettling scene unfold.

Giovanni, a junior at Fresno High, shared his feelings of concern and reflection following the incident. “I am going to think about it a lot ’cause it could happen to anyone else,” he remarked, highlighting the impact of the tragedy on the student body.
