Little bites-big impact: Fuel 4 Ever is all about healthy habits and education

In San Jose, California, students at W.C. Overfelt High School are embarking on a unique journey: building their own business, all while enjoying nutritious snacks.

Danielle and David Stanton, the husband-and-wife duo behind Fuel 4 Ever, are on a mission to teach students the significance of healthy eating. By partnering with local high schools, they aim to share the realities of starting a small business. The students are eager to learn about these impactful, bite-sized ventures.

“Giving back has always been a core value for us,” shared Danielle Stanton, Co-Founder of Fuel 4 Ever. “Working with high school students offers a fantastic opportunity to involve them in our process, giving them a voice and helping them grasp the importance of healthy ingredients and the satisfaction of participating in something special.”

Fuel 4 Ever is a wellness brand dedicated to highlighting the benefits of good nutrition. The founders aspire to expand their brand while educating the youth about making healthier food choices. Their approach includes actively seeking student contributions to enhance their business.

“Students are immersed in every step, from flavor creation and testing to packaging design and turning ideas into tangible products,” explained David Stanton, Co-Founder of Fuel 4 Ever.

Their protein-rich snacks offer a wholesome alternative to typical snack options. The One Bite One Day initiative includes classroom workshops that guide students through the entire process of bringing a product to market. Fuel 4 Ever aims to not only build a successful enterprise but also equip young people with essential business skills, from packaging to pricing strategies.

“It’s about engaging students so that their education becomes more relevant, so that they can find that pathway to the future that they want. The students at Overfelt may come from challenging backgrounds, as a matter of fact, we know they do. Most of them are going to be the first in their families to go to college. They deserve, they are entitled to, that same future that anybody in the U.S. should have,” said Vito Chiala, Principal, Overfelt High School.

Part of the proceeds from the student-designed snacks go back to the school and Fuel 4 Ever also leaves its impact, expertise, and entrepreneurship with the students, one flavor, and one bite at a time.
