They want to get it on while on the clock.
Gen Z might be less sexually active than other age groups, but there is one thing that is turning many of them on: in-office sex.
Yes, it seems that those born between 1997 and 2012 aren’t opposed to doing the deed in a conference room.
According to a recent survey by EduBirdie, amid numerous return-to-office orders across the nation, especially in large cities, 29% of Gen Z believes that working from an office can actually enhance their romantic lives. They feel that being apart from their partners might lead to a greater sense of longing for one another.
However, others don’t seem to want to wait to get home to satisfy their sexual needs.
The survey also uncovered that 38% of Gen Z are interested in having a private spot at work where they could engage in intimate activities, either with a colleague or solo.

While some of these young professionals seek ways to add excitement to their routine office jobs, others prefer maintaining their romantic lives from the comfort of their own homes.
47% of Gen Z workers who work remotely admitted theyâre prioritizing sex more since it’s easier to find the time for it.
Regardless of where people are getting some hanky panky in â something that many workers wish their employer would grant: instead of sick days, Gen Z, millennials, Gen X and baby boomers all want to be able to take âsex days” â paid or unpaid.
ââSex daysâ [are] dedicated time off for intimacy, health, and related needs,â explained researchers from ZipHealth, an online pharmacy, in a report from earlier this year.

The survey analyzed 800 staffers and 200 managers across various age groups, and the study authors found that âHalf of the employees who had taken [a sex day] reported a noticeable boost in their productivity afterward…hinting at the potential organizational advantages of embracing sexual wellness initiatives.â
In-office sexcapades, taking days off for intimacy â how times have changed and gotten spicy over the years in corporate America.
And as taboo as taking a day off for some sexual pleasure sounds â it turns out that 60% of employees feel that if they prioritize their sex lives more, it could possibly reduce burnout or absenteeism, according to ZipHealth.
