George Will Shares Surprising Opinion on NYC's Zohran Mamdani with Bill Maher

Once upon a time, George Will was a conservative.

I’m uncertain about his current stance after his disdain for Trump led him to support Joe Biden. Opting for Biden, despite rejecting Trump, appears to contradict everything he stood for previously. It’s definitely not aligned with conservative values.

But what he said on Friday on HBO’s  “Real Time” with Bill Maher was in some ways even more surprising than that.

Maher and Will discussed Zohran Mamdani, the Democrat nominee in the NYC mayoral race. Maher was critical of Mamdani, stating that his policies echo those typical of communists, such as proposing free grocery stores and free buses. The unexpected element was Will’s reaction; he expressed his desire for Mamdani to succeed.

Wanting Mamdani to win is similar to voting for Biden rather than Trump – a bad idea all around and not well thought out.

We have to fight radical leftism’s rise whenever it rears its ugly head.

We need your support to continue uncovering his extreme communist ideologies and revealing the Democrats who back him. Become a RedState VIP member and use promo code FIGHT to enjoy a 60% discount on your VIP membership.
