M&M's Halloween Rescue Squad returns again: Here's how to get a free candy refill

As Halloween approaches, M&M’s is once again stepping in to ensure the spooky celebrations don’t run dry. For the third year in a row, the M&M’s Halloween Rescue Squad is gearing up to rescue households from the dreaded scenario of an empty candy bowl on October 31st.

WASHINGTON — The confectionery giant Mars, known for its delectable treats, has teamed up with Gopuff to offer free candy refills this Halloween. The collaboration aims to provide a sweet solution for homeowners facing a candy shortage, with Gopuff’s extensive delivery network covering numerous cities across the United States. This means that many urban and suburban residents can take advantage of this sugary lifeline.

Beginning at 5 p.m. ET on Halloween night, October 31st, those residing within Gopuff’s delivery zones can request a complimentary candy refill while supplies last, ensuring their trick-or-treaters won’t leave disappointed.

“M&M’s Halloween Rescue Squad is bringing the Halloween spirit to even more fans eager to celebrate with family, friends, and, of course, M&M’s,” stated Tim LeBel, the President of Sales and Chief Halloween Officer at Mars Wrigley North America. “An empty candy bowl on Halloween night is a nightmare, but M&M’s is here to ensure the festivities continue uninterrupted.”

In a bid to keep the candy flowing, the company promises to distribute more candy than ever before, making sure Halloween revelers are well-supplied for an evening of fun and fright. With M&M’s at the helm, homeowners can rest easy knowing their candy stash won’t run out prematurely.

The company said it would offer “more candy than ever before” to ensure candy bowls are stocked on Halloween.

M&M’s is also partnering with “Jersey Shore” alum Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi for what they call the biggest Halloween in years.

“Halloween is falling on a Friday for the first time in more than a decade, which means more celebrations, more trick-or-treaters and more fun,” the brand said in a press release.

Aside from M&M’s, Mars produces popular candies such as Skittles, Twix and Milky Way bars.

Mars launched the Halloween Rescue Squad in 2023.
