LEADING STORY: The Department of Justice, under the Trump administration, has initiated a multibillion-dollar lawsuit against Harvard University. This legal action accuses the institution of failing to safeguard Jewish students from antisemitism on campus. Students have voiced feeling “unwelcome” in the academic environment, criticizing the university for not fully implementing its task force’s recommendations. This lawsuit could jeopardize Harvard’s substantial federal research funding, as it seeks accountability for alleged civil rights breaches.
VIDEO REPORT: The FBI has confirmed that Michigan synagogue attack suspect Ayman Mohamad Ghazali was motivated by Hezbollah. U.S. Attorney Jerome Gorgon has emphasized that the ‘lone wolf’ description is inaccurate. WATCH HERE:
SEDER CONTROVERSY: An Israeli-American comedian decided to pull out from Manhattan’s annual Downtown Seder after learning that New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani would be present. The comedian’s representatives stated they were only informed of the mayor’s attendance on the event’s day. This decision followed public pressure and criticism of Mamdani’s previous comments about Israel, which have been perceived by some in the Jewish community as deeply offensive and exclusionary.
FAITHFUL ALLIANCE: In an exclusive interview, Sara Netanyahu warned against the global surge in antisemitism, labeling the current conflict an “existential war” between good and evil. Highlighting her Washington visit, she emphasized the critical importance of the Jewish-Christian alliance in defending Israel. She also praised President Trump’s leadership, noting his role in reshaping the Middle East and securing a free-world future.

GUEST EDITORIAL: Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, the U.S. Senate’s special envoy to monitor and combat antisemitism, issues a passover plea for strength, unity and an unapologetic defense of the Jewish life. “As we raise our glass for the four cups, which represent redemption, deliverance, freedom and hope, we are reminded that these are not only symbols of our history, but a call to action in our own time,” he writes.
QUOTE OF THE WEEK: “”I really hope that Harvard and the administration can reach some sort of negotiated settlement that keeps the research funding that is so important to Harvard while also addressing the really, really widespread and critical instances of bias and anti-Semitism that we found in the report and haven’t fully addressed.” – Harvard sophomore Tejas Billa.
