A Halloween setup in a Houston, Texas neighborhood is causing a stir after a video showed mannequins in red hats arranged to resemble an execution scene.
The display — located in the predominantly Hispanic Second Ward neighborhood — features multiple mannequins.
In the footage, two figures wearing red hats, black shirts, khaki pants, and black masks are depicted hanging by ropes around their necks from a wooden gallows adorned with a Mexican flag, as seen in the FNTV video.
“A family in Houston, Texas has erected a Halloween scene featuring two mannequins in red hats, resembling MAGA hats, being hung from gallows topped by a Mexican flag,” stated a user on X. “Such a hateful display can provoke violence. It’s beyond free speech. The person responsible should be arrested.”

The controversial display appeared as the Trump administration continues to ramp up U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement efforts nationwide.
The Second Ward, adjacent to downtown Houston, is among the city’s original four neighborhoods and features a predominantly Hispanic community, as noted by the City of Houston’s website.
