AS a former Prime Minister, Boris Johnson’s love life has long been a source of much public intrigue.
The politician has been married three times and has fathered nine children – with the most recent addition to his brood being born in May 2025.
Who are Boris Johnson’s children?
Boris Johnson has eight children in total, including four from his former wife Marina Wheeler.
There is a 30-year age gap between his eldest Lara and newborn Frank.
Lara Lettice
Lara Lettice, born in 1993, is the eldest of Boris’ children.
The MP married barrister her mother, Marina Wheeler, in 1993 while she was pregnant with Lara.
Lara, who styles herself with the double-barrelled surname Johnson-Wheeler, is a writer, editor and broadcaster.
Fashionista Lara has carved out a career in journalism, writing for The Spectator and British Vogue.
In 2016, she launched her own publication (un)fold magazine – which examines the “correlation between mental health and creativity”.
And like her father, she is a keen classicist.
She received an A grade in her Latin A-Level and proceeded to enroll at the renowned University of St Andrews, where she completed a Master of Arts in Latin and Comparative Literature.
Milo Arthur
Born in 1995, Milo Arthur is the oldest of Boris’ sons and, like Lara, his mother is Marina Wheeler.
He was educated at Westminster School, where he developed a love for sport.
Milo was a finalist for the Funaki Prize, an accolade for artistic achievement, and attended London’s School of Oriental and African Studies until 2014.
He then moved to Dubai to work for Esquire Middle East and, according to his LinkedIn, became fluent in Arabic, Russian and French.
In 2018, he was pictured helping his mum clear out the family home after she announced she was leaving Boris.
Cassia Peaches
Cassia Peaches, born in 1997, is the third of Johnson’s children with Marina.
She studied at the prestigious Highgate School in North London.
During her time at the private school, she was a student editor of their alumni magazine Cholmeleian.
Since then, she has become an author like her father.
Theodore Apollo
Theodore Apollo was born in 1999 and is the youngest of Johnson’s children with ex-wife Marina.
He attended Cambridge University, despite the fact that his father went to their rival university in Oxford.
In August 2020, he reportedly wrote a play on Brexit that included his father’s part in the UK leaving the European Union.
Stephanie
Stephanie, who was born in 2009 is the half-sibling to Boris’ other children.
As the product of an affair with art adviser Helen Macintyre, Boris wasn’t named on the birth certificate and he was initially denied paternity.
However, the affair was revealed in a 2013 court battle in which he tried to prevent Stephanie’s existence being reported.
Wilfred Johnson
Boris and Carrie Symonds welcomed their first child together during the midst of the Covid pandemic in 2020.
He was named Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson, with his first name referencing the then-Prime Minister’s grandfather.
The name Nicholas was chosen in tribute to the NHS doctor who saved Boris’ life whilst he battled with coronavirus in hospital.
He was the third child to be born in Downing Street, after Tony Blair’s son Leo in 2000 and David Cameron’s daughter Florence in 2010.
Romy Johnson
Boris’ daughter Romy was born on December 9, 2021.
A spokesperson for the couple shared the news, stating that Carrie had given birth to a “healthy baby girl” who was born in London.
It took almost a week for details of the baby’s name to be made public, with the couple finally deciding on Romy Iris Charlotte.
Carrie revealed the name on Instagram, revealing that Romy was named after her aunt.
She said: “Romy after my aunt, Rosemary.
“Iris from the Greek, meaning rainbow,
“Charlotte after Boris’ late mum who we miss so much.”
Frank Arthur Odysseus
Carrie announced that she had given birth to another son on July 11, 2023.
He was born just a few days before the announcement on July 5, 2023.
In an Instagram post, she shared: “Welcome to the world Frank Alfred Odysseus Johnson born 5th July at 9.15 am. (Can you guess which name my husband picked?!)
“Am loving every minute of the sleepy baby bubble.
“Seeing my older two embrace their new brother with such joy and excitement has been the most wonderful thing to see. We are all very smitten.
“Thank you so much to the incredible NHS maternity team at UCLH.
“They really are the most amazing, caring people. I feel such immense gratitude.
“Now, can anyone recommend any good series/box sets to binge while breastfeeding?
“Time for a drink”.
Poppy Eliza Josephine Johnson
On May 24, 2025, Boris and Carrie announced they’ve welcomed another baby.
The mum revealed the adorable name for her fourth child with the former PM in a post on Instagram today, adding: “We are all totally smitten.”
The post included snaps which show the Johnsons enjoying pizza to celebrate the birth of daughter Poppy Eliza Josephine Johnson.
Poppy is Boris’ ninth child and was born on May 21.
The mum said her other kids are “delighted” with the new arrival, describing her as “a final gang member”.
She said: “Wilf is v excited about a being a big brother again and has been chattering about it nonstop.
“Don’t think Romy has a clue what’s coming…She soon will!”
