A 22-year-old social media influencer and model was killed in a devastating New Jersey car crash that also claimed the life of one of her passengers, authorities said.
Tayzia J. Toledo, known to her online followers as Ayzia J, was behind the wheel of a BMW traveling on Route 55 in Deptford Township at about 11 p.m. Sunday when she “lost directional control” of the vehicle, New Jersey State Police said. The car overturned before striking a tree, according to investigators.
Toledo and 22-year-old passenger Henreitta Carter were both pronounced dead after the crash. A third passenger, whose name has not been released, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, police said.
Authorities said the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
Toledo, who lived in Bristol, Pennsylvania, had built a sizable online following, with more than 300,000 followers combined across Instagram and TikTok. On her social media profiles, she described herself as a TV personality, content creator, and model.
In an online fundraiser, Toledo’s family remembered her as someone with a “vibrant personality” who was “deeply loved by her family, cherished by her close friends, and admired by many throughout her community.”
“She was building an incredible future for herself, making a meaningful impact and creating a growing presence across social media platforms,” the family wrote on the page.
“Ayzia’s light will never fade. She will forever live on through the memories, laughter, and love she shared with so many. Though her journey here was far too short, her impact was profound, and her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.”

She last posted on Instagram showing some new styles just days before the crash. Her fans flocked to the comments to offer their love.
“Rest in peace beauty,” one user wrote.
“Lief is so fragile it’s crazy how you can be here and then just gone forever the next,” another wrote. “My heart is breaking for her loved ones. she will forever be remembered. the sweetest bubbliest funniest girl.”
Toledo’s death came on the same day that fellow influencer Brianna Johnson — known to her followers as DreamDoll Brii — was killed in a drive-by shooting while riding in a Lamborghini in Miramar, Florida. She was just 21 years old.
