DOZENS of influencers had to be rescued after a $4.5 million Lamborghini 63 yacht capsized off the coast of Miami Beach during Formula One weekend.
More than 30 women boarded a luxury boat that was intended for only five passengers. The vessel quickly encountered issues, eventually overturning and sinking in a dramatic sequence captured on video.
Footage shared by influencer Lauren Nicole shows passengers passing around life vests and waiting anxiously to board rescue boats.
The sleek, limited-edition yacht can also be seen vanishing beneath the waves of Miami Beach, Florida.
Debris floated on the surface as emergency services raced to the scene.
Eyewitness Rachael Miller shared with CBS News Miami: “We were just on the boat when we noticed a swarm of police, police boats, and another yacht completely flipped over vertically in the water.”
“It was vertical,” she added. “It was straight up in the water. It definitely didn’t look ordinary, and it’s just very concerning.”
Another bystander, Bruce Maresh, recounted his disbelief to WSVN: “In the distance, something appeared at an angle, and as we got closer, it was evident it was a large boat.”
The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 – a high-speed superyacht born of a joint venture between Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group – is built for five guests and two crew.
One influencer rescued a bottle of $330 Clase Azul Gold Tequila from the sinking boat and shouted “baby is safe!” and “the women and children are okay!”
32 people were rescued from the vessel on Saturday afternoon, according to authorities.
Miraculously, no serious injuries were reported, but the incident is now under investigation.
After the chaos, Lauren and others shared on social media videos of themselves partying at Jungle Island.
Miami welcomed F1 fans from around the world for the fourth season in a row after its initial introduction on to the race calendar in 2021.
F1 photographer, Kym Illman, revealed the remarkable price for goods at the circuit, which is the first of three visits to the United States for the motorsport in 2025.
Taking to his social media page, Illman showed the price of a number of items including beer, bottled water, pizza and nachos before tax.
He revealed a pizza will cost fans between $16-$18 (£12-£14) and pasta will cost $25 (£19),
Meanwhile, Formula One action continued with Oscar Piastri winning the Miami Grand Prix.
Lando Norris also came in second as McLaren stole the show on the weekend that Verstappen welcomed his first child and secured pole position for Sunday’s race.
The Dutchman, whose partner Kelly Piquet gave birth to their daughter Lily ahead of the Miami Grand Prix, settled for fourth behind George Russell in third.
Ferrari suffered more team orders chaos as Lewis Hamilton was left fuming with his race engineer over swapping positions with Charles Leclerc as the seven-time world champion finished eighth behind the other Ferrari in seventh.
