WASHINGTON — Iranian state media aired a disturbing three-minute video depicting a fantasy scenario involving the killing of Barron Trump, marking a sharp escalation in rhetoric targeting President Trump and his family as Tehran prepares for another round of severe U.S. economic sanctions.
The video, titled “Where to kill Barron Trump,” purported to track the movements of the president’s 20-year-old son, claiming he is “fully monitored” and featuring images said to show dormitories at New York University’s Constance Milstein & Family Global Academic Center, according to a Euronews translation.
Separate reports also claimed the Iranian regime had placed a $10 million bounty on Barron Trump. The Post was not able to independently confirm the alleged bounty or verify the video’s assertions about his whereabouts.
The video targeting the president’s youngest son circulated through media connected to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, according to the Middle East news outlet Al Bawaba.
It follows a similar July video promoted by IRGC-linked outlets, when Tasnim News Agency released a clip titled “Where to Kill Melania?” that also claimed to identify Melania Trump’s location.
The threats come as Trump intensifies his pressure campaign against Iran. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has announced what he described as an “economic D-Day” plan aimed at crippling Tehran’s economy, which is already under strain from high inflation and the effects of a blockade.
