Ivanka Trump, daughter of former President Donald Trump and a past advisor, addressed a large audience at Hostages Square in Tel Aviv on Saturday night. She expressed admiration for the “strength and conviction” shown by the hostage families amidst their suffering, as they look forward to the return of their loved ones after the significant Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement facilitated by her father earlier in the week.

She relayed a message from her father, saying, “The president wishes me to convey, as he has done with many of you directly, that he acknowledges you, supports you, and remains committed to standing by you. The return of each hostage signifies not just relief and homecoming but represents a triumph of faith, courage, and our shared humanity.”

Jared Kushner, Ivanka’s husband, also spoke, expressing his belief that the aftermath of this trauma would lead to unprecedented greatness, achievement, impact, and leadership levels for Israel.

The 72-hour countdown for Hamas to release its remaining hostages began on Friday.

Twenty of the hostages are believed to be alive, while another 28 are deceased.

During the rally, some attendees expressed their discontent with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by booing him, while former President Trump received cheers. The rallies have been organized with help from Netanyahu’s political opposition, according to a source from his office.

The families of the hostages condemned the booing.
