As a result, the de facto “leaders” have become those who are the most vocal, such as former Democrat vice-presidential nominee and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, along with Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Jasmine Crockett (D-TX). These individuals often gain attention by making bold statements to captivate the left. However, such tactics could result in their rejection by the centrist voters in a national election, such as a presidential campaign.
