NEW YORK — For the eighth consecutive year, the organization STOMP Out Bullying is presenting Culture Shock, a dynamic panel discussion that brings together notable figures from the realms of entertainment, sports, and media. The event aims to address the crucial issues of bullying, cyberbullying, discrimination, identity, life challenges, and personal development.

This year’s discussion takes place on Thursday, April 30 at 11:00 a.m. EST | 8:00 a.m. PST.

During the event, panelists will candidly share their own childhood experiences of being bullied. This powerful discussion will be broadcast live to schools across the nation and beyond, ensuring a wide-reaching impact.

Students nationwide will gain insights from a panel that offers genuine experiences and honest perspectives, enriching the conversation around these pressing issues.

This event provides a platform for students to witness open discussions about identity, personal challenges, and growth, encouraging them to continue these important dialogues within their own communities.

For those unable to watch live, the discussion will be accessible on-demand via the event’s website, mobile app, and connected TV applications shortly after the live broadcast on Thursday.

This year, the event is hosted by the well-known celebrity Jeannie Mai. The panel features actress Logan Browning, actress and dancer Monique Coleman, actor and voice artist Jack Dylan Grazer, alongside actor, singer, and musician Booboo Stewart.

The event is part of National Culture Week, which provides an opportunity for young people to share and learn from one another’s diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences.

The discussion educates students on homophobia, racism, and hatred, and provide schools with a template for encouraging conversations throughout Culture Week and the remainder of the school year.

Culture Shock is an annual event dedicated to promoting cultural diversity, kindness, and inclusivity within educational settings. Through engaging discussions, activities, and resources, Culture Shock aims to empower educators and students to embrace diversity and foster a culture of acceptance and empathy.

STOMP Out Bullying is the leading national nonprofit dedicated to changing the culture for all students.
