It’s rather entertaining to observe the plethora of “political experts” within the Commentariat™ who are now speculating that the seat soon to be vacated by Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) could potentially change hands. However, given the unpredictable nature of today’s political landscape—where the unimaginable has often become reality—I’m hesitant to predict the outcome of any race with certainty.
Nonetheless, it’s difficult to ignore when considering the wealth of material Texas Democrat Senate nominee James Talarico has provided over the years that Trump-backed Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, the new GOP Senate nominee, can capitalize on.
RedState has covered this topic extensively, with my colleague Jennifer Oliver O’Connell highlighting Talarico’s unusual assertions. These include claims such as “God is non-binary,” the issues surrounding “whiteness and masculinity,” the existence of “at least six genders,” and the notion that “the American flag is a problematic symbol,” standing out as particularly noteworthy.
