Kim Kardashian wanted Sarah Paulson to 'bring it' when the star dressed up as her in 'All's Fair'

LOS ANGELES — The glitz and glamour of Hollywood were in full swing on Thursday evening as Hulu’s latest drama, “All’s Fair,” made its grand debut. The star-studded event celebrated a show that embodies female empowerment.

Conceived by the acclaimed creator Ryan Murphy, “All’s Fair” brings together a powerhouse cast including Kim Kardashian in the role of “Allura Grant,” Sarah Paulson as “Carrington Lane,” Niecy Nash-Betts portraying “Emerald Greene,” Glenn Close as “Dina Standish,” Teyana Taylor as “Milan,” and Naomi Watts in the role of “Liberty Ronson.” The series, which unfolds over ten gripping episodes, follows a formidable team of female divorce lawyers as they navigate the complexities of their professional and personal lives.

Set to premiere on November 4 on both Hulu and Hulu on Disney+, “All’s Fair” promises to offer viewers a compelling narrative filled with drama and intrigue.

Kim Kardashian, who is currently pursuing a law degree, shared insights with On The Red Carpet about her character’s inspiration. “Allura Grant is a fierce, empowered woman,” Kardashian explained, noting that she drew inspiration from Laura Wasser, a prominent divorce attorney who has played a significant role in her own life. “Laura has been my attorney, and she’s always been a pillar of strength, ensuring that her clients believe everything will be alright. That’s the kind of energy we bring to these characters.”

Sarah Paulson, renowned for her transformative performances in Murphy’s projects, dives deep into her role, capturing the essence of Kardashian’s iconic style. The series teases an intense rivalry between their characters, a dynamic already hinted at in the electrifying trailer.

Paulson, who is known for her physical transformations in Murphy’s many series, holds nothing back in this one, where she completely embodies Kardashian’s famous look. Their characters go head-to-head in this series, and we caught a glimpse of that in the trailer.

“Please know that this look is-” Carrington begins.

“Mine,” Allura cuts off.

“Nothing more than next Halloween’s costume,” Carrington retorts.

Paulson explained, “Yeah, you see me dressing up as Kim, which is one of the great days on set and a real testament to Kim’s sense of play, and fun, and her sense of humor, that she was like, ‘Bring it! I can’t wait.’”

They even had it down to the specific shades of makeup.

“Like my makeup artist was talking to her makeup artist about what color lip liner it was, and we were doing a full ‘Kim’ glam, and it was like, ‘By the way, I’ve never looked hotter.’”

Niecy Nash-Betts told us what it was like on set with Kardashian.

“Watching Kim multi-task. She will have one baby on FaceTime. She’ll have a law book in her lap. She’ll have a computer next to her running her business. She will say, ‘Hey, yes. Let’s run lines.’ She makes us all feel like we’re not doing enough,” she joked.
