King David hotel kicked a woman out of a main suite — JD Vance wanted it

Veep’s Kingly Mideast move

A well-connected acquaintance is currently in Jerusalem, mingling with diplomatic personalities.

According to my source, “A team evicted a woman from her suite at the King David Hotel. The reason? Vance specifically requested that suite for his stay. Before his scheduled afternoon arrival, this nearly deal-breaking diplomatic issue was resolved. The lady guest was moved out, and the new Vice President moved in.”

When it comes to Israel and Jerusalem, especially with international VIPs, the King David Hotel is the premier choice for accommodations. The staff are experienced in dealing with the varied temperaments, egos, and last-minute demands of global leaders. However, they noted that Vance’s team has been particularly “demanding.”

Did he have any additional requests? Indeed, he asked for an abundance of towels in his bathroom, presumably to maintain his well-groomed beard.

Unfortunately, I don’t have further details on his other preferences, but reliable sources say Vance was “particularly excited for the breakfast buffet.”

Fashionable cash

In other news, the replacement for wintry Wintour takes home a modest salary of $250,000. This is a stark contrast to the lavish spending of the Soros family, known for their support of progressive causes. Wintour, who once hosted a gala for Soros’ son’s wedding—a guest list curated by Hillary—is far removed from the financial constraints of her successor.

Choice cuts

A VIP bulletin not to be overlooked: Nov. 9 Edison Ballroom. Critics Choice Documentary Awards. I’m not certain what that is. I know I’m not getting any. Also Christine Baranski will present an Impact Award to Ken Burns. Nominated films include John and Yoko, Stiller and Meara, Pee-wee Herman, Martin Scorsese and a partridge in a pear tree.

Free speech pay$ well

JANE Fonda, 87. Believes freedom of speech is at risk. Now at least she’s not posing alongside a communist anti-aircraft weapon. Thinks Colbert and Kimmel were sanctioned, thinks DC is behind this and thinks she’s leading a movement to protect speech.

Bill O’Reilly and Wired’s Taylor Lorenz report this. It’s unconfirmed but told to me: Dark money organization Chorus backs leftists up to $8,000 a month to dish progressive propaganda. A signed contract says nobody can know you’re on the take and they must approve whatever you write. Some funding comes from something called DC’s Sixteen Thirty Fund.

Civically enraged

ANY of our mayoral candidates doing anything about crime? Seeing that unclean hospital rooms are not killing patients? Prioritizing safety so we’re not afraid to walk out at night? Watching that opening a car door doesn’t hit a delivery bicyclist? Checking so a dozen eggs costs less than your home rental? Anesthetizing unsuccessful Sliwa since he only wants attention? Shipping bull-thrower Crapdami to lovely Venezuela?

WHEN we’re born we’re naked. Wet. Hungry. Making noise. Needing attention. Then we get slapped on the ass. And for Crappy Crapdami and desperate for attention Sliwa, looks like this bad news slides downhill from there.

Only in New York, kids, only in New York.
