Knicks fans ignite school bus on fire

Celebrations over Knicks mania spiraled into chaos in Times Square, where fans vandalized several school buses in the crowded gathering area — including one vehicle that was ultimately consumed by flames.

According to footage from the scene, one bus was set ablaze after people ignited pieces of clothing and threw them inside, while others continued dancing on the roof amid the disorder.

Video also shows the crowd tearing apart buses parked near the 42nd Street subway station.

Several fans were seen ripping the hoods off the vehicles and climbing onto the exposed engine compartments.

Elsewhere, others hurled and shattered glass beer bottles across the street.

“I’m scared for my homies!” one frightened fan could be heard shouting during the turmoil.

In one video, a woman can be seen worrying about the financial cost. “You know our tax-payer dollars go to public schools, right?” she yelled.

The NYPD ultimately intervened around 2:30 a.m. — well over an hour after the hooligans started the school bus carnage. Police said early Sunday that no arrests had been made.

The maniacs started by ripping off the grills and mirrors from the trucks.

One shirtless man smashed the grill onto the street before dozens joined him in jumping on top of it and smashing it to pieces, shocking video shows.

One destroyed bus was graffiti with “Let’s Go Knicks” and “F–k ICE.”

Fans attempted to bring the same destruction down on another bus parked in the area, but the distraught owner pleaded with the maniacs to leave the truck alone, according to freedomnews.

“This is f–king up my check. This is coming out of my check!” the driver said before using his body to protect the bus from the maniacs.

It was not immediately clear if anyone was arrested in the mayhem.
