Kristyna Kaltounkova’s Double Strike Leads Sirens to Victory Over Sceptres

Shortly after, a chaotic scramble in front of the Toronto net led to a penalty shot opportunity for Kaltounkova. The penalty was awarded due to Ella Shelton’s infraction for handling the puck with her hand. However, Kaltounkova’s attempt narrowly missed, striking the right post.

As the game neared its conclusion, Kaltounkova sealed the victory with an empty-net goal, leaving just 6.5 seconds on the clock.

The Sceptres made a push late, with under a minute remaining but couldn’t beat Osborne.

Both sides played sloppily but the Sirens managed to take advantage of one opportunity.

The victory helped the Sirens move past the Minnesota Frost for second place in the PWHL standings, one point behind the Boston Fleet.
