The young boy who took the stage to accept Bad Bunny’s Grammy during the Super Bowl LX halftime performance was mistakenly believed by many social media users to be a 5-year-old recently detained by ICE. However, this was not the case. Meanwhile, the wedding that Lady Gaga performed at during the event was indeed authentic.
In one of the show’s many symbolic moments, viewers saw a young boy in a living room with his parents, watching Bad Bunny’s historic Grammy win on an old television. As the performance unfolded, Bad Bunny appeared with the award, handing it over to the child, who received it with pure joy and amazement.
Many assumed the boy was 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos, who had recently spent over ten days in ICE detention with his father before a judge ordered their release. The resemblance led to a flurry of speculation on social media.

Though the boy was indeed age 5, he was not Liam, as it turned out. He was Lincoln Fox, a child model of Egyptian and Argentinian heritage who has appeared in numerous ad campaigns for the likes of Walmart, Target and other major brands.
“I’ll remember this day forever!” an Instagram post from the boy’s account read, accompanied by a video clip of the memorable event. “It was my truest honor.”
Rumors also swirled that the boy might be a representation of a young Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, which is Bad Bunny’s real name. The headline of the performance read “Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio presenta.” As of Monday morning, representatives for the artist had not made any official statements.

Another notable scene in the halftime show featured a wedding, occurring about five minutes into the event. A couple was shown being wed, surrounded by dancers and musicians. After their kiss, Lady Gaga appeared with the Puerto Rican salsa group Los Sobrinos. She performed a part of her hit song “Die with a Smile” before joining Bad Bunny for a lively salsa dance.
The show was sprinkled with dance cameos including Pedro Pascal, Cardi B, Jessica Alba and Karol G.
