In the footage, a group is seen attacking two individuals at the intersection of Fourth and Elm Street. One victim, a woman known only as Holly, was knocked unconscious.
Authorities have arrested Montianez Merriweather, 34, and Dekyra Vernon, 24, on Tuesday evening. They are facing charges for felonious assault, aggravated riot, and assault. Merriweather’s bond is set at $500,000, while Vernon’s bond is $200,000.
Another individual, Jermaine Matthews, was arrested overnight and accused of aggravated riot and assault. His bond is set at $100,000.
Police say charges have been filed against two more people, who are not yet in custody.
Montianez Merriweather and Dekyra Vernon, linked to a Cincinnati altercation that drew national focus, have been apprehended.
The Cincinnati Police Department did not return a request for comment Thursday and has not returned multiple comment requests throughout the week.
Throughout the week, inquiries to Pureval’s office have not been responded to, nor have those to the Cincinnati City Council or City Manager’s office.
