Louisiana State University has placed two fraternities on interim suspension while officials investigate separate allegations of hazing.
Delta Kappa Epsilon and Phi Gamma Delta, commonly known as FIJI, were temporarily suspended as the university reviews the claims, WAFB reported.
LSU confirmed the interim actions to News Outlet.
The investigation followed an urgent complaint filed Sept. 3. According to WAFB, the anonymous complainant said a roommate described being made to perform wall sits while allegedly being waterboarded by members of DKE.

The individual who submitted the complaint asked not to be identified.

The allegations involving FIJI reportedly include claims that pledges were forced to drink an entire gallon of chocolate milk, leaving several of them vomiting.
They were also allegedly instructed to bring a squirrel to one of the fraternity’s meetings.

Delta Kappa Epsilon addressed the allegations in a statement provided to News Outlet:

“Delta Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity is aware of the allegations involving the Zeta Zeta Chapter at Louisiana State University and takes them seriously. DKE is cooperating with the appropriate authorities as they review the matter. We will take appropriate action based on the facts established through those processes. Because the matter remains under investigation, we will not comment further at this time.”
News Outlet also contacted the LSU Police Department, the university and Phi Gamma Delta for comment.
