In an exciting collaboration set to enchant audiences, Hallmark and Walt Disney World are joining forces for a landmark project. The 2026 film “Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True,” marks the first original holiday movie produced by the Hallmark Channel to be filmed at the iconic Orlando resort. This magical venture is scheduled to premiere during Hallmark’s highly anticipated Countdown to Christmas.
Starring the ever-charming Lacey Chabert, a beloved figure in the Hallmark universe, the film will also feature Travis Van Winkle, alongside a talented ensemble cast including Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano, Bryce Dufee, Taegen Burns, Asher Alexander, and a special appearance by Patrick Renna. With such a stellar lineup, this movie promises to capture the hearts of audiences everywhere.
Hallmark’s entry into the enchanting world of Disney marks a significant milestone, as these two beloved brands collaborate on a new venture after years of shared merchandise endeavors. The film, currently in production at Walt Disney World, aims to infuse the holiday spirit with a touch of Disney magic.
“At our theme parks and resorts, new stories and cherished memories are created daily,” noted Sally Conner, VP of Global Content. “This film is a wonderful opportunity to spread joy and capture the essence of that magic for fans all over the world.” The partnership between Hallmark and Disney is poised to bring a new level of wonder and joy to the holiday season.
“Across our theme parks, resorts, and beyond, countless unique stories unfold and new memories are made every day with our guests,” Sally Conner, VP Global Content said. “This film is a wonderful way to share that joy and pixie dust with fans everywhere.”
While Hallmark and Disney have collaborated on merchandise for decades, this marks the first time the two brands have come together for a new, original film.
The story follows Lindsey (Chabert), who heads to Walt Disney World with her extended family for a Christmas getaway. Her plans take an awkward turn when she discovers her hotel room is next door to Philip (Van Winkle), a recent first date that did not go well. As they keep crossing paths around the parks, the tension slowly softens, thanks to a little holiday magic and a well-timed wish.
The collaboration will also extend beyond the screen. A co-branded Disney and Hallmark holiday product collection, including ornaments, greeting cards and gifts tied to the movie, is expected to arrive during the 2026 holiday season.
Filming will take place at Walt Disney World, with more production updates expected next year.
