A 34-year-old new mother with credits on the hit series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” was found dead inside her Queens, New York, home in what authorities are investigating as an apparent murder-suicide, while reports indicate she had married into a family marked by a history of violence.
The NYPD told INC News that Mary Golding was pronounced dead at the scene after officers found her shortly after midnight Tuesday with a stab wound to her back.
Golding worked in the television industry as a set decorator, with IMDb listing her among the crew members on several notable productions, including “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”

After officers discovered Golding’s body, the investigation led to another disturbing discovery in Astoria Park.
The body of Golding’s husband was seen hanging from a tree in what appears to be a possible murder-suicide, according to the New York Post.
